of this morning's the show new jersey governor chris christie's approval rating is slowing, it is now is 73%. the republican governor is not just popular among his own party. the majority of independents and democrats surveyed also approve of the job kristi is doing. while approval ratings of the handling of super storm sandy are high, the poll found voters were split on his handling of the economy. that is the issue most voters are concerned about right now. >> boeing is planning to start test flights as soon for the 787 dream liners. the company says that this will allow it to look at the in-flight performance of their planes and batteries. the faa grounded the dream liner fleet last month because of issues with this lithium ion battery malfunctions. boeing says it is working round-the-clock to fix the problem so that their planes can get back in the air. >> the ntsb is looking at expanded a small recall of pontiac and gmc 6 midsize cars so it includes up to 550,000 vehicles. general motors recall about 8000 cars in 2009 because the bright lights and cruise control did not work properly.
